The Role
As the Social Media Manager at TechTribe Inc., you will be at the forefront of our digital marketing strategy. You will cultivate a comprehensive social media program to build our brand, connect with our audience, and increase our market presence. You will work closely with our Marketing Team, Content Creators, and Product Managers to ensure a cohesive voice across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, and written) across all platforms, ensuring all content aligns with our brand voice.
- Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a ‘social’ way while cultivating leads and sales opportunities.
- Analyze key metrics to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing posts to promote our brand effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Engage with influencers and key opinion leaders within our industry to grow our network and brand recognition.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to track industry trends and benchmarks, ensuring that TechTribe remains a leader in the market.
- Manage paid advertising campaigns across social media platforms, ensuring optimal ROI.
- Coordinate with customer service to promptly address follow-up questions and feedback from our social media audience.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate for the Social Media Manager position will exhibit a perfect blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and a passion for engaging with online communities. We are seeking someone who possesses:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Proven track record of successful social media campaigns across different platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- A creative mind with an eye for aesthetics, as well as the capability to generate innovative ideas for engaging content.
- Experience with graphic design and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong understanding of the latest social media trends, best practices, and algorithm changes.
- A passion for technology and e-commerce, with an understanding of how they intersect with social media marketing.
